Travel Postpartum RN position at MaineHealth – Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine, a 929-bed Level I trauma center and teaching hospital known for advanced care, education, and research. Portland offers coastal charm, cultural attractions, and historic architecture.
You will provide postpartum care for mothers and newborns, including assessments, education, and support.
Responsibilities
- Provide postpartum care for mothers and newborns
- Conduct assessments and monitor recovery
- Deliver patient and family education
- Identify and respond to potential crisis situations
- Document care using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Requirements
- Current Maine RN license (Compact accepted)
- Minimum of 2 years of prior RN experience in Postpartum
- NRP-AHA and BLS-AHA certifications (copies required)
- Proficiency with EMR systems
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Two professional references covering entire work history
- SSN and date of birth required for compliance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
