About the Role

Travel RN – Postpartum position with HealthTrust Workforce Solutions for North Austin Medical Center in Austin, Texas. Start date 10/12/2026, 13‑week assignment, 36 hours per week (12‑hour night shifts, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM), no call.

Unit Details

• 97‑bed postpartum unit, Level IV maternal and Level III NICU
• Annual birth volume: 12,000 (≈1,000 births/month), 5th largest in the nation
• Couplet ratio: 1:4
• Number of beds: 24
• Staff: 26 (1 charge RN, 4 RNs, 1 clerk during day; no PCTs at night)
• Patient ratios: 3:1 and 4:1, occasionally 2:1 depending on acuity
• EMR: Meditech and CPN

Requirements

• Current RN license
• NRP Advanced Provider certification (not the Essentials)
