Unit Details
Number of Beds - 32 (operational), Number of Staff – 59 total (FT/PT/PRN).
Type of staff: Day Shift – Charge, RN, PCT, HUC, Night Shift - Charge, RN, PCT, HUC.
Patient Ratios – 1:3 couplets (varies on mix), Type of equipment - EMR – Meditech & CPN.
On Call Requirement – None, Floating Requirement – Ante for PP overflow, L&D recoveries.
Requirements
Must have: Couplet Care Competencies, Breastfeeding Support.
Preferred or nice to have: Mother–Baby Charge Experience, late‑preterm or transitional newborn experience.
