About the role

Refined Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a 13-week assignment starting August 17, 2026 in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for critically ill pediatric patients under the supervision of a physician.
• Assess and document patient conditions and progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Maintain a sterile environment and follow infection control protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in at least one state.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience in pediatric intensive care preferred.

Qualifications

• Passport required for international travel.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay

The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
