The unit consists of 5 PICU beds, 7 step-down beds, 7 med-surg beds, and 1 treatment room. The unit services all 23 specialties within DH Children s and sees a variety of acuity and patient complexity. DH is seeking a traveler with dual experience between PICU and hematology/oncology. Depending on the unit census the traveler may be asked to staff the critical care unit or staff as a hem/onc RN. Travel RNs should be well versed in caring for a wide range of diagnoses and specialties, and be comfortable working with a smaller team as we staff 4 PICU RNs a shift.
