Travel Nurse RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - $2,600 per week

About the role

Pediatric ICU – 20‑bed unit that is part of a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center. Patients include trauma, general surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, oncology, solid organ transplants, burns, and various medical specialties. Eight beds are dedicated to specialized pediatric cardiac care. Nurse‑to‑patient ratio is 1:2‑3. The traveler will support a shared staffing model between the Pediatric Cardiac ICU (PCICU) and the Pediatric ICU (PICU), requiring flexibility to work between the two adjacent units.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients across a wide range of specialties.
• Maintain a 1:2‑3 nurse‑to‑patient ratio in the PICU/PCICU environment.
• Float between the Pediatric ICU and Pediatric Cardiac ICU as needed to support the shared staffing model.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality patient care.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care) experience.
• Ability to work in a shared staffing model and float between PICU and PCICU.

Schedule

13‑week assignment, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour rotating shifts, 3 days per week.
