Travel Nurse RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - $2,588 per week

About the role

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a hospital contract in Morgantown, West Virginia. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and a duration of 13 weeks starting as soon as possible. The pay range is $2476.84 - $2600.68 per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to PICU patients, including those with congenital heart conditions, respiratory issues, neurosurgery cases, and ventilated patients.
• Administer titratable medications such as sedation and vasoactive drugs with physician orders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including in-house pediatricians, residents, and advanced practice providers, to coordinate patient care.
• Absorb equipment management including vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and other RT equipment.
• Float within children's units and cover assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

Requirements

• 2 Years of PICU experience required.
• Full COVID vaccine (Moderna, Pfizer, or J&J).
• BLS, PALS certifications.
• Experience with titrating drips such as sedation and vasoactive drugs.
• Ability to float within children's units including L&D, NICU, & Acute Peds.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a current RN license in good standing, full COVID vaccine (Moderna, Pfizer, or J&J), BLS, PALS certifications, and experience with titrating drips such as sedation and vasoactive drugs. They must also be able to float within children's units including L&D, NICU, & Acute Peds.
