Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a 13-week assignment in Aurora, Colorado.
Requirements
- One year of recent experience as a PICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- Preferred: ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification, CCRN certification
Essential Work Functions
- Explain procedures and treatments to pediatric patients and their families
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Prepare and operate advanced medical equipment
- Monitor and interpret vital signs
- Initiate a patient education plan
- Document all relevant history and physical assessments
- Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
