Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled PICU RN for a 6-week travel assignment in Wichita, Kansas. As a member of our team, you'll provide advanced specialized care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents in high acuity settings.
Requirements
- One year of recent experience as a PICU RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification
Qualifications
- Preferred: ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification
- CCCRN certification
Essential Work Functions
- Explain procedures and treatments to pediatric patients and their families
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Prepare and operate advanced medical equipment
- Monitor and interpret vital signs
- Initiate a patient education plan
- Document all relevant history and physical assessments
