Travel Nurse RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - $2,094 per week

About the role

Travel nurse RN position in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at a facility in Asheville, North Carolina. 13‑week assignment, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts. Employment type: travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform IV starts
• Perform caths
• Hold for lumbar punctures (LP’s)
• Central line dressing changes
• Hemodynamic monitoring
• Tracheostomy care
• Tube feeding and placement
• Intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring
• Ventilator management

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year PICU experience
• PALS certification
• Ability to float to Pediatrics and NICU as needed
• Willing to work 3 weekends in any 6‑week schedule

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include experience with Alaris pumps, Cerner documentation system, and familiarity with unit‑specific equipment and staffing (unit secretaries, shared tech).
