Operating Room Pediatric (OR PEDS) Registered Nurse position is available in Detroit, Michigan. Job Details

• Location: Detroit, MI
• Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Educational background in nursing
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in operating room nursing
• Ability to work in Detroit, MI

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in pediatric perioperative care
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
• Familiarity with pediatric surgical procedures

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to pediatric patients on a per-shift basis
• Supervise staff to which appropriate care is delegated
• Support the facility Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high standards of nursing care, staff competency, and resource management
