Pediatric Floor (PEDS) position in Asheville, NC, providing specialized patient care in a pediatric and oncology unit, supporting a team of healthcare professionals to deliver quality care to pediatric patients with a focus on organized and detail‑oriented practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized patient care in pediatric and oncology unit.
• Support a team of healthcare professionals to deliver quality care to pediatric patients.
• Perform pediatric assessments and oncology procedures.
• Maintain organized and detail‑oriented practice.
• Adhere to nurse‑to‑patient ratios of 1:3, 1:4, or 1:5 with at least one oncology nurse per shift.
• Potential floating to other units as required.
• Wear navy blue or white scrubs according to facility dress code.

Requirements

• Current RN license.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preference for candidates with pediatric and oncology experience.
• No minimum experience required.
• Ability to work 12‑hour day shifts, 48 hours per week.
• Willingness to work in Asheville, NC, at a pediatric and oncology unit.

• Start date: 11/02/2026.
• Duration: 8 weeks (through 12/28/2026).
• Shift: 12‑hour days.
