Travel Nurse RN - Pediatrics - $2,390 per week

About the Role

Pediatric Medical Floor RN position at a high-volume, fast-paced unit in Colorado Springs. This 14-week travel assignment involves providing pediatric medical and surgical nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric medical and surgical nursing care on a medical-surgical unit
• Work effectively within a team-oriented environment
• Demonstrate critical thinking, strong organizational skills, and pediatric nursing competence
• Adapt quickly to changing situations
• Available for Resource RN and Charge RN roles (no patient assignments)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure
• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• Two years of pediatric medical-surgical experience
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), minimum 36 hours per week
• Must be available to work two of the three designated holiday periods
• Must complete four weekend shifts within four weeks
• Dependable, flexible, and proactive in communication

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN degree
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records within the last year

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Minimum 36 hours per week
• 13-week duration (position described as 14-week assignment in location detail)
