About the role
Pediatric Medical Floor RN Traveler position in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. This role involves providing patient care on a pediatric medical-surgical unit, working day shifts, with the potential to float within the Denver Metro area. The assignment is scheduled for 13 weeks, beginning on 12/15/2026 and ending on 03/20/2027.
Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour days, from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
- At least one holiday and holiday eve are required
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care on a pediatric medical-surgical unit
- Float within the Denver Metro area up to 35 miles from the original assignment location, including units within the cohort as outlined by the policy
- Possible reassignment to other practice areas within clinical competency boundaries
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BSN
- PALS certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Med/Surg experience
- Previous travel experience
- Colorado licensure
- Meet all compliance and safety standards prior to start
- Seasonal Influenza Vaccine (exemptions may be considered for medical or religious reasons)
- No RTO permitted during the first two weeks; maximum of 5 days RTO for the entire 13-week assignment
Preferred Qualifications
- More than 2 years of Pediatric Med/Surg experience
- Experience with float policy
- Flexible to float within the Denver Metro area
