The Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit position is located in Brookhaven, Georgia. This role involves providing specialized critical care to pediatric patients in a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit environment. The healthcare provider will deliver high-quality patient care during night shifts, following established clinical protocols and standards.

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Minimum 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• May be required to float to similar units as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized critical care to pediatric patients in a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit
• Deliver high-quality patient care during night shifts
• Follow established clinical protocols and standards

Requirements

• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• CICU training is mandatory
• Epic electronic medical record experience required
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a cardiac intensive care environment (preferred)
• Pediatric experience (preferred)
• Flu vaccination required during flu season with no exemptions
• Nicotine testing may be required along with drug screen
