Join a dynamic team in Philadelphia where your clinical expertise, leadership, and patient-centered care make a real difference for complex pediatric patients. This 13-week travel contract offers a consistent day schedule (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) and the opportunity to demonstrate clinical leadership in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, comprehensive care to complex pediatric patients
- Perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
- Manage and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams
- Anticipate patient needs and delegate care appropriately
- Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians, families, and care teams
- Contribute to standards of care and nursing division goals
- Serve as a clinical role model and preceptor for new staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical policies and procedures
Requirements
- 3+ years of Pediatric Nursing experience
- Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
- Active PA or NJ RN License or Temporary Practice Permit
- BLS Certification through AHA, Red Cross, or qualifying organization
- Active membership in a professional nursing organization
- Comfortable using IV pumps, POC devices, cardiac/CR monitors, and clinical communication systems
- Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills
