The role requires highly experienced psychiatric nursing skills and the ability to provide acute crisis stabilization, assessment, and treatment within a multidisciplinary team setting. Job Details Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: 5 years of nursing experience, recent pediatric psychiatric or behavioral health experience within the last 3 months, Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license, American Heart Association BLS certification, Driver's license, and candidates' address must be included in the submission packet. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with children ages 5 to 12 with emotional and behavioral challenges, and familiarity with crisis stabilization and assessment. Additional Information: Must be willing to float to other units and take charge shifts. Recent psych skills checklist and supervisory references from the last 2 years of employment are required. Candidates living within 35 miles of the facility will be subject to a rate decrease. RTO blackout dates include 08/31-09/4, 09/8-09/11, 09/26-09/30, 12/23-12/27, and 12/31-01/01. Candidates must have recent pediatric psychiatric experience in the last 3 months to be considered.
