About the role
Pediatric Psychology RN travel assignment in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within a pediatric psychiatric setting at a children’s hospital. The role requires delivering compassionate, clinical support to pediatric patients while adhering to safety and treatment protocols.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a pediatric psychiatric unit.
- Work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM).
- Float or be reassigned to other clinically competent areas within thirty-five miles of the originally assigned facility, as needed.
Requirements
- BSN and active RN license.
- Minimum 2 years of registered nurse experience in behavioral health (or 4 years without a bachelor’s degree).
- 1 year of pediatric behavioral health experience.
- BLS certification.
- Safety Care certification (provided if not currently held).
- No requested time off (RTO) allowed during the first 2 weeks of assignment.
- Seasonal influenza vaccination required unless exempted for medical or religious reasons.
Preferred Qualifications
- Emergency Department pediatric experience.

- Start Date: September 22, 2026.
- End Date: December 19, 2026.
- Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours weekly.
