About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment in Augusta, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients in a progressive care unit setting.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to established protocols and standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Adhere to infection control practices and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Experience in progressive care unit preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Skills
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR).
