About the Role
This travel nursing assignment is at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. The unit has 14 beds and operates with the following staffing:
- Day Shift: 1 charge RN, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 sitters
- Patient Ratios: 1:4
- Unit staff includes RNs and PCTs, with unit secretaries and techs available
Key details about the unit:
- Equipment used: Chest Tubes, IV Pumps, various drains
- EMR/Documentation system: Meditech
- Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend
- Floating policy: Must be available to float to other units
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
