Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,805 per week

Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a 15-week assignment in Rapid City, South Dakota. The position requires one year of recent Stepdown RN experience, current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and PCCN certification preferred.

Requirements

• One year recent Stepdown RN experience
• Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Preferred: Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification, NIHSS Certification

Essential Work Functions

• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients
• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and other telemetry data
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams
• Documents nursing history and physical assessment
• Initiates patient education plans
• Responds to life-saving situations
