Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,758 per week

ND Global Consulting Services is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Progressive Care Unit assignment in Utica, New York.

The 64-bed IMCU provides intermediate-level care for adult patients (age 18+) requiring close monitoring and advanced nursing interventions. The unit includes 15 designated Neuro beds and manages a diverse patient population across multiple specialties.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex cardiac, neurological, respiratory, trauma, and post-operative patients in a high-acuity IMCU environment
• Care for patients requiring:
  • Temporary pacemakers
  • Chest tubes
  • Arterial lines (A-lines)
  • BiPAP
  • Neptune Vapo
  • Mechanical ventilation (chronic ventilator patients may be cared for when unable to wean; Respiratory Therapy assists with ventilator management)
• Float to other appropriate units as required

• Trauma
• COPD and other respiratory conditions
• DKA
• Sepsis
• MICV step-down patients
• Post-operative patients

Requirements

• 2+ years of recent IMCU/PCU experience
• Travel nursing experience required and must be documented on resume
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Active NY RN license (verified through Nursys)
• RTO must be submitted at the time of submission
• Current driver's license with address matching candidate demographics
