About the role
Join a dynamic healthcare team in Rochester, NY, as a Registered Nurse specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This travel contract offers a 12-hour night shift schedule with four shifts per week and guaranteed 48 hours weekly. You will deliver exceptional care to adult acute care patients in a critical care step-down unit.
Responsibilities
- Manage a 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio
- Provide continuous pulse-oximetry and telemetry monitoring
- Handle airway management and BIPAP support
- Administer titrated medicated IV infusions
- Deliver compassionate care in a multi-disciplinary environment
Requirements
- BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- EPIC charting experience
Schedule
- Start Date: 08/24/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week (guaranteed 48 hours weekly)
- Shift: 12 hours, nights (four shifts per week)
