Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,520 per week

Job Summary

The healthcare professional opportunity is based in a step down unit at a care setting in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a specialized environment requiring a minimum of one year of experience in step down or ICU settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a step down unit environment
• Read and interpret remote telemetry monitor strips
• Assume charge nurse roles as needed
• Titrate various drips including Heparin, Levo, Cardizem, Dobutamine, and pressors
• Assist in other areas such as the emergency department as needed

Schedule

• 12-hour night shifts
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start date: August 10, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in step down or ICU settings
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA) certification
• Basic Life Support (AHA) certification
• Current and appropriate certification and licensure

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with Cerner charting system

Additional Information

• Unit equipped with vented patient transfer capabilities to higher levels of care
• Nurse-to-patient ratio approximately 1:35, with additional CNA support available based on census
• Comprehensive orientation includes four hours of classroom training and eight hours of floor training
