Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,462 per week

About the Role

Travel nursing assignment in Tucson, Arizona for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN. Assignment starts 08/10/2026, lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts. Must be willing to float to similar units or sister sites. Shift notes: 7:30 PM start, 36 hours scheduled, 24 hours guaranteed. Banner may cancel 1 shift per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a Progressive Care Unit setting.
• Float to similar units or sister sites as required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 24 months PCU experience, with recent experience in the last 12 months (required).
• Life support certifications (ACLS, BLS) must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (required).
• No hits on state license to practice (required).
• Return-to-office (RTO) cannot exceed 7 days; no RTO during the first week of assignment (required).
• Valid driver’s license to verify residency (required).
• Travel experience (highly preferred).
• Strict adherence to Banner’s background check standards (required).

Qualifications

• Complete Banner Cover Page (required).
• Resume detailing all facilities, departments worked, trauma level designation, and number of beds (required).
• PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months (required).
• Active Arizona state nursing license, verified in the last 30 days (required). Compact license allowed.
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications from approved vendors (required).
• Driver’s License (required).
