Unit Details

• Number of Beds: 27
• Staffing:
  • Day Shift: Charge RN, RNs, LNAs, Unit Coordinator (Monday-Friday)
  • Night Shift: Charge RN, RNs, 2-3 LNAs
• Patient Ratios: 5-6:1
• Equipment: Hoyer, CPM, Code Cart
• EMR: Not specified

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients undergoing typical procedures such as:
  • Orthopedic Surgery (Knees, hips, Shoulder, Cervical)
  • Bariatrics
• Collaborate with team members to deliver patient-focused care
• Float to Medical Oncology as needed
• Adhere to unit dress code: scrubs (no specific color)
• Work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Med Surg in a hospital setting (required)
• Preferred experience:
  • 2 years in Med Surg, Orthopedics, or Bariatrics
• Required Certifications:
  • BLS
