OneStaff Medical is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Tucson, Arizona.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to patients in a progressive care unit setting.
- Assist with daily patient care including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing treatments.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety through effective communication and collaboration with other healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- At least one year of progressive care unit experience preferred.
- Experience with critical care and emergency protocols.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Passing scores on relevant national certification exams (e.g., NCLEX-RN).
Skills
- Proficiency in medical terminology and procedures.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
