Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,340 per week
Job Summary
The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse position involves caring for a diverse patient population, including oncology and post-operative patients recovering from complex surgeries. The role requires providing skilled, compassionate care in a highly collaborative and supportive environment, working closely with a multidisciplinary team.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with weekend rotations every other week.
Required Qualifications
- Valid BLS and NIHSS certifications
- 2 years of experience in a similar setting
- Kentucky nursing license or compact license
- Experience with blood administration, skeletal traction, drains, JP drains, CT, wound care, wound vac management, Heparin infusion, high flow oxygen therapy, BiPAP, PCA pain management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with vascular access teams and sepsis protocols
- New staff orientation includes a 24-hour facility orientation (three 12-hour shifts) plus one 12-hour shift at the start of week two
- Floating to mixed acuity setting may be required
