Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,175 per week
VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment in Thornton, Colorado.
About the Role
This is a travel nursing position at a hospital, offering an opportunity to provide care in a progressive care unit. The role supports healthcare professionals with flexible, impactful work opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in a progressive care unit, including post-op recovery and orthopedic patients.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and progress, utilizing telemetry and post-op monitoring equipment.
- Administer medications and manage cardiac drips, including non-titrating infusions like heparin.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement patient care strategies.
- Document patient information accurately in Meditech / CPN electronic medical records system.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital PCU experience.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
Pay
Pay range: $2,081.61 - $2,185.69 per week.
Schedule
- 12-hour shifts: 19:00 - 07:00 (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- 36 hours per week.
- Contract length: 13 weeks, starting 09/14/2026.
