About the Role

Travel Intermediate Care (IMC) RN jobs for Surgical, Urology, and Thoracic patients in Baltimore, MD place you in a 1,000-bed Level I trauma center and teaching hospital. You will care for clinically complex patients across three levels: unmonitored, telemetry, and IMC, including those recovering from thoracic surgeries and urology procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), including those recovering from thoracic surgeries and urology procedures
• Manage care for clinically complex patients across unmonitored, telemetry, and IMC levels
• Utilize arrhythmia management skills and operate BiPAP/CPAP equipment
• Assist with bedside bronchoscopy as needed
• Document patient care using EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent IMC or surgical nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Experience with EPIC EMR systems (preferred)
• SSN and date of birth required
• 1 professional reference from the last 12 months
• Recent experience specifically in a surgical unit

Pay Rate: $2056.00 - $2162.00 per week
