About the role
Outstanding PCU, based in exciting Richmond, is looking for the right RN to join their team. This 25-bed unit maintains 1:4 staffing within a 460-bed Level 1 Trauma center and Certified Chest Pain Center. The facility has been named a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures for advanced primary stroke, heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia, perinatal care, hip and knee replacement, and surgical care.
Responsibilities
- Handle a fast-paced unit with several admissions, discharges, transfers, procedures, etc.
- Read and interpret EKGs in a telemetry environment.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with PCU experience (2 years required)
- Active RN license (Compact accepted; copy needed)
- ACLS-AHA and BLS-AHA certifications
- SSN and date of birth required for compliance
- Work history with no more than a 90-day gap in the last year
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Meditech facility systems
