Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,105 per week

Job Summary

The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nurse position is available in Lewes, Delaware. This role involves providing care at the stepdown and intermediate levels within an acute care setting. Night shifts, every other weekend, and holidays are required.

Job Details

• Locations: Lewes, DE
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a relevant setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with arterial lines
• Experience with chest tubes
• Experience with post-cardiac cath care
• Experience with administering medications such as insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, cardene, and neosynephrine

Additional Information

• The unit needs flexibility to float to Medical-Surgical (MS) or Medical-Surgical Telemetry units
• The patient ratio is 1:4 in a 12-bed unit
• The unit focuses on stepdown and intermediate care
• No on-call requirements are associated with this position
• The unit follows facility guidelines and protocols for cardiac and post-procedural patient care

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
