This role involves providing specialized patient care within a 15-bed unit that emphasizes telemetry, cardiovascular, and vascular surgery support. The RN will work the night shift, with a schedule of 12-hour shifts, supporting a patient-centered environment that utilizes advanced equipment and technology. Job Details: Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant setting, strong telemetry skills, experience titrating vasoactive medications such as levophed, phenylephrine, dopamine, and dobutamine. Certifications required include ACLS and BLS. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with arterial lines, Flo-Tracs, temporary pacing, pre-operative prep for cardiovascular surgery, chest-tube removal, arterial line removal, and familiarity with GE monitors, Hamilton Bipap and Hiflo, Baxter IV Pumps, Hemospheres. Additional Information: The unit features new equipment and technology, including GE monitors and advanced cardiovascular support tools. Staff has substantial tenure and experience, with a focus on patient safety and comfort. The team supports mobility and uses a central monitor station for patient surveillance.
