This role involves monitoring patients with rhythm disturbances, heart failure, MI, and other cardiac conditions, with an emphasis on safety and precision. Job Details Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week Qualifications: 24 months of current Telemetry, Cardiac, Stepdown, or Progressive Care experience required; Iowa license or multi-state licensure; BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) certifications; experience with ICD and Pacemaker required; EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience; valid Driver's License. Preferred Qualifications: Level I Trauma experience preferred; Level II trauma experience required; previous experience working with cardiac drips and titration. Responsibilities: Care for patients presenting with rhythm disturbances, heart failure, MI, and MS overflow; monitor cardiac telemetry with tech monitoring; administer and titrate drips such as Nitro, Cardene, Heparin, Diltiazem, Dopamine; provide patient education and support; adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards. Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week Submission Requirements: Candidates must have an active Iowa license, Nursys verification, and a recent professional reference.
