Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse specializing in cardiac care in Evansville, Indiana. This position involves caring for a patient population including those with medical conditions, cardiac issues, pre- and post-coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery, arrhythmias, heart failure, and stroke overflow. The unit has 28 beds with a patient ratio of approximately 1:4-5.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including monitoring and assessments
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment demonstrating strong clinical skills and compassionate patient care

Requirements

• Valid nursing license in Indiana
• Good standing in professional licensing
• CPR certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Qualifications

• No minimum experience required
• Experience in a cardiac or progressive care setting (preferred)

Schedule

• Days shift, 12-hour shifts
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
