Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,065 per week

About the role

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care, performing assessments, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. The RN will supervise ancillary nursing staff, participate in patient discharge planning, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission to develop care plans
• Collaborate with patients and families for teaching and discharge planning
• Document patient data accurately and timely
• Participate in team-building activities to foster a positive work environment
• Assume charge responsibilities after orientation
• Actively pursue professional development
• Supervise ancillary nursing staff
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards

Requirements

• Valid active nursing license in the state of practice
• BLS certification required prior to first shift
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift (if CIRH)
• Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience
• Recent ICU experience highly desired
• Float rotation may be required
