Job Summary

The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Johnstown, Pennsylvania involves providing patient care on a specialized unit that manages patients needing close monitoring and advanced care. The position features night shifts with a commitment of at least 36 hours per week, starting on August 24, 2026.

Schedule

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license
• BLS certification
• 0+ years of experience
• Located within 60 miles or greater from the facility

Additional Information

• Must have clinical experience in progressive care or related units
• The unit primarily cares for cardiac, geriatric patients with diagnoses such as CP, MI, post-op cardiac cath, and post-op pacer
• Candidates should possess a positive attitude and be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment with comprehensive patient care responsibilities
• The facility requires complete and clear screenings prior to start, including Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI fingerprinting within the last two years, and PA State Police Clearance

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
