Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,044 per week

About the role

Fusion Medical Staffing is recruiting a travel nurse RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Kalispell, Montana. The position is for 13 weeks starting August 11, 2026, with 36 hours per week and a 12-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Maintains awareness of comfort and safety needs of telemetry patients
• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and other telemetry data
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams
• Documents nursing history and physical assessment
• Initiates patient education plans
• Responds to life-saving situations
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Qualifications

• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification preferred
• NIHSS Certification preferred

Skills

Essential skills include critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills. Ability to read/write in the English language, read/write instructions, and proficiency in PC skills are required. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend.

Pay and Schedule

Highly competitive pay for travel professionals. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
