Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $1,990 per week

About the role

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in a healthcare facility. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care by following individualized nursing care plans, supervising healthcare team members, and promoting patient and staff safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the delivery of quality care and supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees.
• Promotes safety for patients and staff.
• Performs patient assessments within 8 hours of admission.
• Collaborates on care planning and documents all interventions and patient responses accurately and timely.
• Provides patient education, participates in the patient rehabilitation program, and initiates discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission.
• May assume charge responsibilities after orientation.
• Actively pursues ongoing professional development.

Requirements

• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification prior to first shift.
• Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification prior to first shift.
• At least 2 years of bedside clinical experience.
• Degree in nursing and licensure as a registered nurse (RN).

Schedule

• Days shift.
• 12-hour shifts.
• Minimum 36 hours per week.
