Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $1,967 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) assignment in Thornton, Colorado.

About the role

This is a 13-week travel contract at a hospital, with a start date of September 14, 2026. The position offers 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift (19:00 - 07:00).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a progressive care unit, including post-op recovery and orthopedic patients
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and progress, utilizing telemetry and post-op monitoring equipment
• Administer medications and manage cardiac drips, including non-titrating infusions like heparin
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement patient care strategies
• Document patient information accurately in Meditech / CPN electronic medical records system

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PCU experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications

Pay

Pay range: $2,081.61 - $2,185.69 per week (based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, subject to confirmation). Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
