About the Role
This Step Down Unit position is located in Brookfield, Wisconsin. The role involves providing care on a telemetry floor with a focus on recovery of surgical patients. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of Med/Surg experience and familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records.
The role may require onsite floating within the skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed. The successful candidate will support patients with complex needs in a fast-paced environment and adhere to hospital protocols, including EOH rotation with staff.
Schedule
- Day shifts, 12 hours per shift
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start date: 08/24/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
Requirements
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- At least 1 year of Med/Surg experience
- Experience in telemetry and recovery of surgical patients
- Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records
- Travel experience preferred

- Experience with hospital float pool or onsite floating within skill set or nearby sites
