About the role
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves providing direct nursing care to critically ill patients in a high-acuity 20-bed environment within the adult inpatient medical-surgical unit. The RN will monitor and assess patient conditions, administer treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in a high-acuity PCU setting
- Monitor and assess patient conditions
- Administer treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Emphasize teamwork, patient safety, infection control, and ongoing professional development
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (Compact) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Maryland state license or eligibility
- Minimum of 0 years of experience
Qualifications
- Experience in a high-acuity inpatient setting or progressive care environment (preferred)
This position requires a motivated RN capable of critical thinking, quick assessment, and effective communication.
Schedule
- Nights shift, 12 hours per shift
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
