Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $1,596 per week

Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN travel position in Hermitage, Tennessee. Start date: October 19, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts. Employment type: Travel. Specialty: PCU – Progressive Care Unit. Discipline: Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication; report any adverse reactions to treatment.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients; interpret and record electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action when monitoring equipment shows adverse symptomatology.

Requirements

• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience (minimum 2 years referenced)
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment

Skills

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean and stoop without difficulty
• Capable of lifting 20 pounds routinely; patient moving/lifting may require up to 50 pounds
• Good stress‑coping skills
• Ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds
