Travel Nurse RN - Palliative - $2,520 per week
About the Role
Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Palliative for a travel nursing job in Marshfield, Wisconsin. This is a 13-week assignment with rotating 12-hour day/evening shifts at a Level 2 Trauma acute care facility.
Shift & Schedule Details
- Variable Day/Evening mix shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM
- 36 or 48 hours per week
- Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
- No on-call requirements
- Start Date: 08/17/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
Unit & Patient Care Information
- 29-bed Progressive Care/Medical-Surgical floor supporting complex patient populations including post-surgical and general medical cases
- Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:4 (days) and 1:6 (nights)
- Nurse aides available: 1:8 (days) and 1:14 (nights)
- Common patient diagnoses include abdominal surgeries, ear/nose/throat surgeries, complex wounds, and general medical cases
- Equipment includes CPAP, BiPAP, Vapotherm, and occasional tracheostomy care (no ventilators)
- Telemetry monitoring supported by monitor techs; RNs are not required to read telemetry strips independently
- Charting system: Cerner
- May float on rotation to other med/surg units if unit is overstaffed
- Agency staff not required to work in a charge nurse role
- Scrubs of any color accepted
- Unit orientation includes 12 hours of computer training and 12 hours of shadowing
Required Skills & Certifications
- Must be proficient with IVs, drains, ostomies, wound vacs, NG tubes, Foley catheters, and electronic health records
- Intermediate care background required
- Required to titrate drips including Heparin and occasionally insulin, diltiazem, amiodarone, and nitroglycerin
- Required certifications: BLS (AHA); ACLS preferred

- Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2520
