About the Role

Livingston HealthCare is seeking an experienced PACU / Pre-Op Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Livingston, MT. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive, independent perioperative and post-anesthesia care, supporting patient assessment, post-anesthesia monitoring, and emergency response within the Surgical Services department.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care across Preoperative (Pre-Op), PACU Phase I, and PACU Phase II settings.
• Perform patient assessments, IV initiation and maintenance, and medication administration.
• Monitor post-anesthesia recovery and manage emergency response situations as needed.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, CRNAs, OR personnel, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Participate in required call coverage, including weekday, weekend, holiday, and rotating shifts (must be able to arrive on-site within 30 minutes of call-in).

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Montana RN License or Multistate Compact RN License.
• Current BLS certification required (ACLS & PALS preferred).
• Recent Pre-Op/PACU nursing experience required. Critical Access Hospital experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to practice independently across Pre-Op, Phase I PACU, and Phase II PACU environments.

Schedule

• 13-week travel assignment.
• 40 hours per week (4x10-hour shifts).
• Variable days between 5:45 AM – 6:30 PM.
• Expected start date: August 10, 2026.

Pay

Weekly pay range: $2,235.89 – $2,630.46 (including tax-free stipends for eligible travel clinicians). Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
