About the role

Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse position in a healthcare facility. The nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care following anesthesia procedures. The role involves utilizing the nursing process to monitor and evaluate patient recovery, ensuring optimal outcomes in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and carry out nursing care tailored to patient needs
• Document accurately and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Provide patient education and discharge planning
• Adhere to hospital standards and policies
• Exercise professional judgment, effective communication, and cultural competence

Requirements

• Completion of a basic professional curriculum from a school of nursing as approved and verified by a state board of nursing
• Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• 0 to 6 months of related experience

Schedule

• Days shift, 8 hours per day

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
