Schedule

Start Date: 10/12/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. 36 hours per week. Shift: 8 hours. Employment Type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide observation and care for post‑operative patients as they recover from surgical anesthesia.
• Handle a broad range of patients from pediatrics to adults.
• Develop individualized care plans based on each patient's condition.
• Monitor critical patients for condition changes and report to the physician.
• Determine when patients are recovered and ready to move to a room.
• Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Easily lift 20 pounds; moving or lifting patients may require up to 50 pounds.
• Possess good stress‑coping skills and relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Requirements

ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications; 1‑2 years recent acute care experience (minimum 2 years preferred). Additional certifications may be required before beginning the assignment.

Skills

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting 20 pounds routinely, with occasional patient lifts up to 50 pounds.
• Strong stress‑management and interpersonal skills for diverse patient populations.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
