Travel Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - $2,415 per week

Job Summary

Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Maine. This role involves providing patient care under the supervision of the Unit Director within the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, following organizational policies and procedures. The Clinical Leader or Charge Nurse will oversee the shift, ensuring quality patient care and team coordination.

Requirements

• Education: Associates Degree in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Licenses: Current Maine Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact license
• Certifications: Current or soon-to-be current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
• Experience: 0 to 3 years preferred in PACU or related acute care areas
• Must be a team player with strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task

Additional Information

• If the traveler resides within 50 miles of the facility, a decrease in hourly rate will apply
• Up to 16 hours of orientation is unpaid
• The organization can cancel up to 3 shifts during a 13-week contract
