Travel Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - $2,306 per week

About the role

PACU - Post Anesthesia Care nurses care for patients recovering from anesthesia after surgery. They monitor vital signs, assess levels of consciousness, and observe for anesthesia-related side effects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient safety and comfort during recovery
• Monitor and record vital signs
• Absorb and assess patient’s level of consciousness
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Document all observations and actions
• Communicate effectively with anesthesia team and other healthcare providers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current RN license in good standing
• At least one year of acute care experience
• Experience in PACU preferred

Qualifications

• Passing score on NCLEX-RN
• Current BLS certification

Skills

Pay

Based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend to be determined.

Schedule

12-hour shifts, nights
