Travel Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - $2,280 per week
About the role
The healthcare professional specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, will provide patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The role involves managing patients during the immediate post-operative recovery phase, ensuring safe and efficient transfer to subsequent care or discharge.
Responsibilities
The position includes rotating weekend shifts, holidays, and may require some on-site float coverage within the skill set or nearby sites. Candidates should be adaptable to department needs and demonstrate reliable clinical performance.
Requirements
- Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Experience in pre/post and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Previous travel experience
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, possibly EPIC
- Must have the ability to float within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed
- Minimum of 0 years of experience
Qualifications
- Experience with on-call responsibilities and rotating shifts (preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment skills (preferred)

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Schedule: Day shift with a flexible start time between 0900-1730 or 1100-1930, based on department needs; shifts include 8 hours per day with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
